“Out of Time” explores a world built on a single, disturbing idea: existence is a privilege that people must work to deserve. That thought led me down a path to really explore the quiet, systemic cruelty within our current healthcare landscape. We all know access, cost, and power often overshadow plain old human compassion. I wanted to tell a story that pushes back against that reality—a story about a mother who refuses to accept a world where saving her son is impossible because the system is broken.
This narrative has been a part of my life for years, shaped by countless late nights, tough conversations, and the incredible people who believed in the vision enough to help bring it to life. And now, it’s yours. Out of Time is officially available to rent or own on pretty much all the platforms you already use, including Apple TV and Prime Video. If you watch it and it hits you the way it hit us, please, please add your review on Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, and Letterboxd. It genuinely means the world to the entire team who poured everything into this project.
For those of you who have been following this journey from the very first spark of an idea, thank you for riding with me. If you’re just discovering it now, I genuinely hope you’ll take the time to watch. And when you do, don’t keep it a secret! Tell someone about it. Recommend it to a friend. Start a conversation. That’s how stories like this truly find their way and make an impact.
Thank you for being part of this moment.

Over the years at Djini Productions, I’ve seen firsthand how incredibly hard it can be for filmmakers—myself 100% included—to find their tribe. You know, the crew, the community, and that consistent momentum you need to keep actually creating. It’s a hustle that often feels lonely and expensive. That grind is exactly why I decided to build The Crewsaide, which I’m so excited to introduce as Minnesota’s new digital and future physical coworking hub for us. It’s a place where we can genuinely connect, share projects without the gatekeeping, and start building toward a proper physical studio space together.
The Crewsaide officially launched this week, and the response has been amazing. Members can jump into the online community right now, connect with other local filmmakers, post open roles for projects, and dive into discussions about every single stage of production. It’s literally built by one filmmaker (yours truly) for all of us, and trust me, this is only the beginning. Membership starts at $8 a month, and the first month is completely free so you can check it out risk-free. Every single sign-up helps us fund the future physical studio space we’re working so hard to secure. If you’re a filmmaker, a talented crew member, or just a creative who wants to be part of building Minnesota’s next major creative hub, come join us at thecrewsaide.com.
Our next big step is bringing this incredible community into a real, tangible space—a studio and coworking home we can all use. To get there, I’ve opened a fundraising page that covers all the necessary startup costs: leasing, build-out, essential furnishings, and the tech we need to make it functional. If the mission of The Crewsaide resonates with your spirit, or if you simply want to see more creative spaces like this thrive here in Minnesota, I would be beyond grateful for your support or even just for helping us spread the word. It’s been a one-woman build so far, but your feedback, energy, and participation are truly what will shape what comes next.
